38th & Meridian Farmer’s Market • Opens June 18

The 38th & Meridian Farmer’s Market hosted by North United Methodist Church will begin its 11th season on June 18 from 4:30 — 7:30pm and will continue every third Thursday of the month through September.

One of the longest running Farmer’s Markets in Central Indiana will once again bring accessibility to produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods and more to the Mid-North neighborhood and community at large.

With the recent developments and conversations around the redevelopment of Tarkington Park, the Market looks to continue being a flagship in building community and cultivating relationships in the neighborhood. Identified as a “food desert,” the area surrounding the Market has few options when it comes to accessing sources of sustainable and healthy food. Couple this with the opportunity to further allow the community to learn and grow together, the Market’s existence is seen as a welcome addition to the growing and changing neighborhood.
