Kids Ink Children’s Bookstore is hosting a variety of prominent authors before the end of the academic year. All events are free and open to the public.

Tuesday, April 28 at 4pm
Blue Balliett, author of Chasing Vermeer, will be at Kids Ink Bookstore to promote her latest release, Pieces and Players. Blue taught third-grade for several years, and during that time she arranged for her students’ writing and artwork to be sent into space.

Thursday, May 21 at 4pm
Tom Watson, the creator behind the growing Stick Dog series, stops by Kids Ink Bookstore. Tom worked as a political speechwriter in Ohio as well as marketing before moving to children’s literature. He much prefers writing for children.
