City Petition: 2016-CZN-818 / 2016-CVR-818
Milhaus is requesting for the City to rezone the property to the MU-2 zoning classification (currently D-3 and C-1 classifications). The rezoning will provide for 100 apartments, 9,200 square feet of retail space, and 160 parking spaces. Additionally, they are seeking a zoning variance to allow a 30.75-foot front setback (MU-2 requirements call for a 20-foot maximum front setback) and a 54-foot building height (MU-2 limits height at 35-feet). This will be the fifth time Milhaus has come before the Land Use Committee to discuss their project. This meeting will be focused on presenting the updated variance request, the recently completed traffic study, and the list of commitments Milhaus is proposing to make.

Upon conclusion of the meeting, the Land Use Committee will be finalizing their report and recommendation to the full MKNA Board.
This case is set to be hard by the Department of Metropolitan Development Hearing Officer on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 1 pm in the City-County Building, Public Assembly Room. This is a public meeting where all interested parties can speak. MKNA encourages all interested neighbors to attend.
