Operation Night Light
In 2017, Mayor Joe Hogsett reached an agreement with IPL to retrofit City-funded streetlights to more efficient LED technology. IPL will be working to retrofit these streetlights through spring 2021. The savings from this retrofit will be used to install up to 4,000 additional streetlights in Indianapolis.
Beginning April 26, 2018, new streetlight locations can be requested by visiting Streetlights.Indy.Gov, through the RequestIndy mobile app, or by calling the Mayor’s Action Center at 317-327-4622.
