French Market + Give Back Opportunity!

French Market is one of Indy’s major neighborhood festivals with artisan booths, an array of French and Cajun cuisine with a wine and beer garden. right here in Meridian-Kessler! Roman Catholic Mass in French will be celebrated at 5:30 in the newly-restored, historic Meridian-Kessler church constructed in 1929.  Church tours will be held at 1:30, 3:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Five chefs assist with food preparation, in partnership with the  Second Helpings and Ivy Tech Culinary Schools.  Signature food offerings include quiche, escargot, oysters, cheese and fruit, Crab Cakes, Tarte Flambé (white Alsacian pizza), Beef Bourguignon, Crawfish Etouffee, Seafood Crepes and Ratatouille. French-Dip roast beef and Chicken Provencal sandwiches,  rotisserie chicken and BBQ ribs will also be available.  The wine and beer garden features French wines by the glass or bottle.

Dessert offerings include cheesecake, cream puffs, éclairs, chocolate mousse and Madeleines.  A bake sale will add to the gourmet selections.

A raffle offers exciting prizes including a $1000 cash prize, two $500 cash prizes, a European style scooter, two bicycles, an Apple watch, a hand crafted quilt, 2 Colts tickets with suite access and parking, an Apple I-Pad Air and a professional teeth-whitening procedure!

The French Market Boutique will offer berets, French Market t-shirts and souvenirs.  Artisans will have booths on the church grounds selling original artwork, handmade jewelry, apparel and religious items.

The St. Joan of Arc FRENCH MARKET is a one-day, free-admission outdoor festival featuring authentic French dishes prepared on-site, French wine, live music all day, an artisan craft fair, a raffle, a children’s area and a French-language Mass said in the 90-year-old church at 5:30.  The FRENCH MARKET responsibly celebrates the feast day of Saint Joan of Arc and supports the St Joan of Arc traditional primary school.  A truly classy event open to all!
