Dates to Know:
- Saturday, September 19: DEADLINE for Marion County Election board to mail absentee ballots to voters who have already filed an approved application with the Circuit Court Clerk.
- Monday, October 5: DEADLINE for Voter Registration in Marion County.
- Tuesday, October 6: First day that a voter may vote via absentee ballot in the office of the Circuit Court Clerk or Satellite Office.
- Thursday, October 15: First day a confined voter, a voter caring for a confined person at a private residents, or a voter with disabilities may vote via absentee ballot before an absentee voter board at the voter’s residence or place of confinement.
- Thursday, October 22 by 11:59 p.m.: DEADLINE for Circuit Court Clerk to receive an absentee ballot application from an applicant requesting delivery of a ballot by mail.
- Tuesday, November 3: GENERAL ELECTION DAY – Polls are open 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Registered voters must be in line at the polls by 6:00 p.m. and you will be able to cast your vote.
Become a Poll Worker
To be a poll worker in Marion County, you must meet the following requirements:
- be a registered voter of Marion County (exception: high school students)
- attend training provided by the election board
- work a full day (inspector) or half-day (clerk/judge)
- have access to transportation

TOWNSHIP
All Meridian-Kessler Township Board Districts (2, 4, and 5) have unopposed elections.
COUNTY
There are county elections for Coroner, Surveyor, and Treasurer in 2020. The incumbent Coroner, Lee Sloan, is unopposed. The incumbent Surveyor, Debra S. Jenkins-D, has a challenger whereas the Treasurer is an open seat to due to incumbent term-limits with two candidates:

State:
There are two Indiana House districts that represent parts of Meridian-Kessler, District 96 and District 86. There are two Indiana Senate districts that represent parts of Meridian-Kessler, District 30 and District 33. State House District 96 and State Senate District 33 incumbents are both running unopposed.
This year, Indiana elects a Governor (with their running mate) and an Attorney General. Incumbent Holcomb is running for reelection. The attorney general election is open (incumbent Republican lost his primary).

There are two United States House districts that represent parts of Meridian-Kessler, IN-05 and IN-07. The two are split roughly along 52nd St., with IN-05 to the north and IN-07 to the south, though IN-05 extends as far south as 46th St. in some blocks near to College Ave. Neither US Senator seat is on the ballot this year.
