What Committees or Events do you support in your role on the board?

As Secretary I support all events, committees, and forums.

What does MKNA do that you’re excited or passionate about?

What excites me most about MKNA is its commitment to preserving the character and history of our neighborhood while also bringing people together in meaningful ways. I’m passionate about protecting the historic homes and architecture that make Meridian-Kessler so special, but also about the simple ways we build community — from block parties and cleanup days to helping neighbors navigate city issues they care deeply about. I also love the foundation MKNA was built on: creating a welcoming neighborhood where people from all backgrounds feel connected, involved, and invested in the future of our community.

What’s your favorite spot or thing to do in MK?

I love walking the neighborhood and taking in all that MK has to offer. Every street has its own personality – from historic homes to unique architecture and tree lined streets best seen out on a walk or strolling with my kids. It’s a neighborhood that feels both timeless and welcoming.

What do you do for fun?

For fun, I love playing tennis, spending time with my husband, and chasing around our three kids under five. You can also usually find us sitting on the front porch or out enjoying everything our neighborhood has to offer.
